HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE
Distributes Holiday baskets of non-perishable food and gifts for children infant - 18 years of age. Families and individuals must be in need and meet low-income guidelines. Families with school-aged children must be referred to their school social worker/counselor for assistance. Families with a CSP or DFS social worker must be referred to their CSP or DFS social worker for assistance. CSB clients must be referred by their social worker. Individuals cannot be on another CBO Holiday Assistance program list.

H-R FISH (Friendly Instant Sympathetic Help) mission: To help Herndon and Reston Residents cope with short-term financial crises by providing Friendly Instant Sympathetic Help. To stabilize lives by preventing an eviction, averting utilities shut offs, helping to finance immediate medical needs and other financial emergencies.
